This set contains 72 cards, approximately 3.5 x 3.5 inches, with examples of common and proper nouns.  There are 12 pairs of persons, places, and things.  Each pair has a common version and an example of a proper version of each noun.  Students can increase their understanding of how nouns can be made proper by giving them an official NAME.  They also see how capital letters are used to write them.  This set makes a great whole class lesson, language arts center, or small group practice activity.  Just print or mount onto cardstock, laminate, and GO!
